Christina Franco - North Pole solo, 2009

Expeditioner and conservationist Christina Franco will set out in March 2009 on her latest and largest quest.

To be the first woman to ski, walk and swim solo to the Geographic North Pole. A two-month struggle of human spirit against blizzards, bears and broken ice. A feat of endurance with a global goal, to raise funds and concern for charity, conservation and climate change.
